The World Rookie Tour, organized by Black Yeti ssrl in collaboration with the World Snowboard Federation, has been training young athletes since 2005 by providing a global platform of competitions and training activities. Each year, the World Rookie Finals bring together the most talented youths from over 30 countries, creating a truly unique event that celebrates the enthusiasm and emerging talents of the world of snow sports.
Madonna di Campiglio and Black Yeti have confirmed an important three-year partnership for the World Rookie Freeski Finals 2022-2024 at the Ursus Snowpark. This will become the main venue for youth freeski events, offering emerging talents a prestigious location on the Brenta Dolomites where they can showcase their skills.
This will be a double competition: not only slopestyle, but Big Air as well. This tour establishes the world champs but it also provides numerous other activities that help rookies to grow in the field of professional action sports like avalanche and rescue clinics, the chance to meet professionals and special awards that include invitations to international events or professional photo and video shootings.
