BAITE JAMON

The Baita Jamon, ideal for families looking for a relaxing corner away from daily stress, is located at an altitude of 825 m a.s.l., in the heart of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, in Caderzone Terme, in Trentino, in Val Rendena, a few km from the renowned resorts of Pinzolo and Madonna di Campiglio.

Located outside of the town centre in the località Jamon, a historic farmstead since the 14th century, it is part of a complex of three huts in a quiet and secluded area but at the same time easy to reach. Surrounded by green meadows and woods..., the structure offers a magnificent view of Pinzolo and the upper Val Rendena and the Brenta Dolomites. The chalet was completely renovated following the Trentino tradition in 2022, creating a refined, elegant and cozy environment through the use of typical local materials, larch, fir and granite.

The chalet

The chalet of about 50 square metres in total is on two floors and can accomodate up to 4 people. The main entrance leads to the living area (dominated by wood as the main furnishing and construction material) where there is a large table and the kitchen equipped with a gas cooker, fridge, dishwasher and the typical wood-burning stove.

Descending to the first floor via a rustic wooden staircase, one accesses the sleeping area finely furnished, enhancing the antique solid wood for the furniture and panelling and the granite (tonalite from the Val di Genova) for the flooring. At guests' disposal the chalet is equipped with a double bed and a typical bunk bed made of solid wood. The sleeping area has access to a large bathroom and a storage room. For heating in the cold seasons you can rely on both gas heating system and a wood-burning stove. At guests' disposal there is also an outdoor area (not yet definitively finished) where you can relax and read or sunbath suroounded by nature and tranquillity.

The place

The chalet can be reached all year long on foot with an easy walk up a slight incline of about 10 minutes from the centre of Caderzone Terme. The road that connects it to the twon centre can also be practiced by small-medium cars or mtb, but only in the summer (snow removal is not carried out in the winter months). From the hut it is possible to access footpaths towards the higher altitudes of the mountain, such as the boeautiful San Giuliano lakes with the refuge of the same name. During your stay you can dedicate yourself to the numerous excursions offered by Val Rendena or, at altitude, the Adamello Brenta Nature Park. If you would like to enjoy the bottom of the valley it is possible to participate in the local events organized for guests during the touristic seasons by the Municipalities of Val Rendena, Pinzolo and Madonna di Campiglio.
