Two refuges built in the early 20th century a few metres from each other - and opened in the same week! - bearing witness to the rivalry between Trentino and German mountaineers: the Sella (dedicated to the founder of the Italian Mountaineering Club) and the Tuckett (after the British mountaineer, ardent explorer of the Brenta). Both now belong to the SAT (Association of Trentino Mountaineers). These two very popular refuges at 2,200 metres above sea level where the meadows end and the screes begin are easily reached from Madonna di Campiglio and are an excellent gateway to the world of stone spires and towers that is the Brenta Group. Open From 20 June to 20 September Before leaving for your hike...
