This is a moderate walk. It takes hikers from the town of Madonna di Campiglio (1550 m) to Monte Spinale (2100 m) - which can be reached in just a few minutes by taking the Spinale gondola lift - from where you can enjoy an amazing panoramic view of the Adamello Presanella Group. The terrace at the exclusive Chalet Spinale is the perfect spot to admire the Brenta Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the Adamello and Presanella glaciers. The meadows between Malga Fevri (alpine dairy) and Monte Spinale are the perfect place for a picnic or to catch some sun.

From the arrival area of the Spinale gondola lift, you can choose one of the many possible itineraries to follow in addition to several different ways to return down to the town centre which also includes the use of the lifts. If you prefer to return down to Madonna di Campiglio on foot from Monte Spinale, you continue onwards and cross through the Graffer plain and then descend along the Grostè mountain slope, following the directions along the route. Or you can also choose to descend by following the forest road (that can also be used to hike up to the top) that takes you through alpine pastures and woods back down to Madonna di Campiglio.
