A moderate hike with a spectacular view of the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello-Presanella glaciers in addition to beautiful views of the Vallesinella waterfalls.

This outing starts off from a height of 2100 m on Monte Spinale, which can be easily reached by taking the Spinale gondola lift. From here, you’ll walk downwards along grassy slopes and blossoming meadows until you reach the Malga Fevri alpine dairy, a natural panoramic terrace with a breathtaking view of the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello-Presanella Group, the perfect spot for a mountain picnic. Then follow the directions to Malga Vallesinella Alta where you definitely need to also visit the Vallesinella Alta waterfalls.

You can return to Madonna di Campiglio by following the Sentiero dell'Orso trail, or if you would like to make a detour to see the lower Vallesinella waterfalls (cascate basse di Vallesinella), go to the Rifugio Vallesinella mountain hut and then from there follow the directions to the waterfalls. You can then return to Madonna di Campiglio by following the narrow paved road with limited vehicle traffic.
