A high mountain outing suitable for families that takes you from Pradalago - which can be reached by taking the Pradalago gondola lift - down to the Rifugio Nambino mountain hut and the Nambino Lake, and then through the Nambino plain and down to the town below.
The starting point of this itinerary, starts off with an extraordinary view of the Brenta Dolomites right in front of you on the opposite side. Since it is possible to take the lift, this itinerary is perfect for families with youths that usually enjoy seeing the small lake located at the top of the lift where friendly little animals can often be seen along its shores. As soon as you reach Nambino, you’ll immediately realize why this is a favourite destination for families, for those who enjoy mountain walks and for those who love to fish. The Rifugio Nambino mountain hut, located along the shores of the lake, is a great place to stop for lunch or dinner or for an overnight stay as well, all in a welcoming and cosy atmosphere. Fishing permits are directly issued at the mountain hut.
In just 20 minutes from the mountain hut, you’ll reach the “piana di Nambino” (plain), where you can leave your vehicle in order to return back to town or you can also continue along an easy trail for an additional 20 minutes.
